Originating
in Europe, the tradition has been for the bride and groom to kiss when
guests clink their glasses with silverware. But this tradition has
become tiresome for most brides, not to mention, many venues don’t allow
you to tap their dishes anymore. For fun, new ways to get the bride and
groom to kiss during their reception, we turned to brides in The Ring’s
chat forums, and here’s what they suggest…
Colleen
suggests
“a mini-golf putting hole. If someone gets a hole in one you would have
to kiss.”
Whereas at
her wedding, Dansay had
“hula hoops and made the guests hula for five seconds in order to make
us kiss.”
littlestace
thinks it could be fun to
have guests play WiiTM Sports Bowling, and if they bowl a strike, you’re
locking lips
with your new husband. Or, to serenade you during dinner,
excitedbride2be suggests
“people sing a song with the word love in it.”
