Natural moments, indoors
& out
LONDON vendor reviews
With
years of experience, a full calendar, incredible portfolios
and a focus on service (before, during and after the wedding
day), The Last Forty Percent Photography is a studio you
need to see in person. In a style they admit is all their
own - and that they often describe as "intimate, artistic
and romantic" - Ewan Phelan and the team of photographers
and assistants at The Last Forty Percent Photography don't
want to take 'just a wedding photo'. With two photographers
at every event, they want to deliver photography that
captures everything that matters...

for their wedding day. Here are just a few floral facts
they had for brides in The Ring...

Ceremonies from scratch
LONDON vendor reviews
 Kettle
Creek Weddings is a well-known, well-loved name for many
brides across Ontario and in the local area. They specialize
in performing wedding ceremonies that are made from scratch
by their brides and grooms, and giving the flexible,
personal approach that couples want. Staff at The Ring met
with the owners of several regional offices of Kettle Creek
Weddings, including Martti and Trish of the local Waterloo
Region office. Martti Pajunen has been marrying couples for
over 20 years, the last three of which he's done through his
role as an owner of the Waterloo Region office of Kettle
Creek Weddings. When interviewing Martti and his wife Trish,
staff at The Ring could see how easily...

Picture-perfect setting
LONDON vendor reviews
Pine
Knot Golf and Country Club is for the bride and groom who love the idea
of incorporating both nature and contemporary design into their wedding.
It seems as if all things are possible here - from an outdoor ceremony
aside a serene, beautifully landscaped pond accented with pine trees and
stone-lined gardens to an indoor reception set within the large
contemporary space of the Pine Knot Banquet Hall. Located just minutes
from the 401, Dorchester's Pine Knot seems to have earned its reputation
and popularity through great service and the ability to tune into
what...

Old-world Italian food & service
LONDON
vendor reviews
 The
staff at The Ring had already attended several events at the
Marconi Club of London well before our interview with
General Manager, Joe DiPietro, and so we knew that this one
was going to be one of our favourites. The goal of the day
was to find a reception hall for our brides that served all
ranges of food, but focused on Italian food. And not just
any Italian food; the kind that is made the morning of your
wedding, by hand, from scratch. We also wanted a hall that
could accommodate some of the larger sized weddings in
London, preferably for over two hundred people...

 Walking
into Calla Studio's contemporary Elmira space, with its rust coloured
walls and comfy black sofa and chairs, you get a feel for what
photographer Tina Weltz is all about. Her studio is all about light and
space. With various backdrops and photo areas set up throughout the
room, framed photos on just about every wall (including her signature
calla lily photo that gained her business its name), you definitely feel
that warm, cozy atmosphere Tina strives to create for her clients. On a
professional level, Tina has ten years of photography...

A favourite venue for weddings
K-W
vendor reviews
Everyone
knows that the Concordia Club throws one of the biggest and
most famous Oktoberfest parties every year. But what you may
not know is that they can also host an elegant wedding
reception, from small and intimate, to large and lavish. In
fact, the word 'Concordia' is Latin for harmony, friendship
and unity. The Ring visited Concordia Club because it has
been in Kitchener since 1873 (back when Kitchener was named
'Berlin'), and because they do weddings...
