Twenty-five wedding experts help build a

community for Toronto brides

By Jennifer Goulden, Editor @ The Ring | January 31, 2009

The Toronto area wedding community is home to some of the industry's most fabulous and trend setting wedding experts in all of Canada. There are options for every style, size and budget of wedding. That leaves brides wondering how and where to start. Where do you find the perfect gown? Where can you afford to host your 250 guests? How can you have an intimate wedding for seventy-five guests in a big city?

If you're tying the knot in a Southwestern Ontario town like K-W or London Ontario, you've probably heard of The Wedding Ring. With over 3.9M pages views per year*, odds are that if you haven't personally achieved 'addicted to The Ring' status, you know a bride who has... And that's because The Ring is dedicated to serving and uniting brides by delivering planning resources they can't find anywhere else, ultimately changing the way Canadian brides plan weddings, one city a time.

One of The Wedding Ring's 2009 resolutions was to interview, research, review and report on on everything a Greater Toronto Area bride needs to know to plan her wedding - to change the way Toronto brides plan weddings. (And by 'change', we mean 'pitch-all-the-to-do-lists-because-we've-just-done-all-research-for-you'.) And to achieve this goal, we knew we'd need some help... So we started at the top.

The Top 25 Founding Experts of The Toronto Wedding Ring are among the first to be hand selected for their contribution to the wedding community. These twenty-five companies will be helping The Ring build a community of brides, expertise and wedding style. They represent dedication to the art of designing gorgeous, memorable wedding days for the many brides who come through their doors - and now, they are founding the GTA area of The Ring. Within this Top 25, you'll find award winners and artists, fresh new options and long-time, experienced professionals.

Secluded wedding locale

K-W vendor reviews

Surrounded by rolling hills, ponds and trees, Rebel Creek Golf Club gives the secluded feeling of a destination wedding location, just a few minutes from town. Rebel Creek is where a bride and groom come if they're dreaming of wedding details such as waterside photos, a cocktail hour held on a gorgeous field stone and wrought-iron patio, or a reception in an incredible banquet facility with vaulted ceilings and a view to fall... Your choice of photo styles

Toronto vendor reviews

Bravo Photographers is a Toronto-based studio that's focused on preserving wedding memories in a style that's all their own. Owner and Photographer, Jonathon Ceci, says the studio is best known for their new style of fine art photojournalism. "We take a documentary approach to the day," he explained. Bravo considers their style to be timeless, to break away from trends and standards. So with this fresh, dramatic, documentary-style approach to wedding photography - not to mention nicely customizable wedding packages - staff at The Ring think Bravo will be meeting more than their fair share of Toronto... Supporting life's most

defining moments

London vendor reviews

Staff at The Ring liked officiant, Paul Knauer, right away. We liked him because of who he is as much as what he does for local engaged couples. He has made it his personal journey to play a large supporting role in as many of life's defining moments as he can, including your wedding ceremony. Paul is a non-denominational minister, a retired teacher and a chaplain... Full review

Through his professional disc jockey services company, A & M Sounds, Adrian Peters has become a familiar face at community and charity events as well as at about ninety London area weddings each year. Adrian provides the sound for all sizes of events, not because it's his job, but because it's his passion.
